This book is increadible! The movie just doesn't do it justice! It just goes to show you how true love always prevails no matter what! What a wonderful thing to show our kids. There is just way to much violence and bad things out there. A little bit of good couldn't hurt, could it?

This is one of my favorite movies, but I loved the book even more. I fell in love with the book in high school and was disapointed as all of Nicholas Sparks other books were turned into movies, but the Notebook was over looked. I got so excited the first time I saw a preview. The movie really did turn out to be amazing, but still the book is better.

We just saw the DVD tonight and I'm in awe... what a beautiful story! I absolutely have to read the book. I've missed out on so much!! I'm off to the library tomorrow to see about borrowing it. I'm quite sure I'll read whatever Sparks books I can get now. I'm thoroughly intrigued!!!

i read this book a couple of years back. at that time, a friend of mine introduced me to the book. i loved it soo much! at some point i think i even cried just from reading the book. i would like to share to you a line i got from the book. Nicholas Sparks writing was great. here it is..
"It seems only the old are able to sit next to one another and not say anything and still feel content. The young, brash and impatient, must always break the silence. It is a waste, for silence is pure. Silence is holy. it draws people together because only those who are comfortable with each other can sit without speaking. This is the great paradox."
isn't this line beautiful? imagine just sitting beside someone, saying nothing and yet you know you understand each other. at that moment, emotions transcend time and space. that to me is magic! i would probably cry again if i read the book now.
i also the movie but like always, the book version is better.
you guys should watch it! i bet you will all love it :)
