I don't! I work with 2 other guys, I work mostly up in the office while they work downstairs in the warehouse. One of them is 24 and lives with his parents, and smells so bad! It's not even BO all the time, he just smells! Plus he can't clean up after himself or put anything away! The other guy is like 40 but he just talks and talks and talks! And it's always about himself, and he gives me little lectures about things, because he thinks he knows better! The other day he talked for about 3 hours to different people about how his car was broken, then he complained that he had no time to do his work!! I can't wait till I get back after christmas holidays and I can start looking for a new job!

lol at smells, is that guy french by any chance? oops. Well it seems to me that you really love that job won't blame you for it. lol First off theres not many people working so you prolly love the idea of not being able to talk to alot of different people and then theres 2 guys, one of which you said is extremly good looking or was it stinky? and the other one is funny as hell or was it JUST a yapper? lol gotta love your situation. Its not even funny how easy it is to not like your coworkers. I used to work with a guy who'd be my shift partner as a security guard, And this guy had me mistaken for someone who gives a damn. He was the perfect candidate for " I make no sense when I talk, I Know it but I'll still do it to annoy the fk outta you" award. But nothing could be done except I kept sending him on false alerts lol. cheers ;)

Well, I think a lot of us have Pet Peeves when it comes to our Jobs. I know I do. Personally, there are days I would Love to scream about things, and then there are the days when everything is going good, and I Love my job. I think we all have Pet Peeves, and personal issues, but if you feel that strongly about where you work that it is not a Good position for you, you might consider starting to look elsewhere. I wish you the best.

i have a customer care working under me, and gosh! though she's much older than me and a mother to 1 son, she's like a puppet!! she only do things if you ask her to! there's simply no initiative in her and used most of her working time to be chatting in msn/yahoo messenger. i would like to get a better person but i still cant find the right candidates. i cant believe there are people still like that in this competitive world now.

the problem is, she spend her time chatting to men and not doing what she's suppose to do....and when the deadline is here, she will do it with a lot of errors!

WOW! You sound a lot like me at times. I work in an office and some days I do not like my co-workers, but other days they are a lot of FUN! They may not even like me some days either. I look at it like this we all have to work and we are usually with our co-workers more than our own family so it is best to try to find something good in every person and try to get along with them as much as possible. I haven't had FUN at a job since i was a teen-ager when nothing in life really mattered to me. Getting a new job may be worse for you in the end. Right now you only have to deal with 2 people you do not like, what if you change jobs and end up having to deal with 20 you do not like? Maybe just avoid these 2 clowns and try to enjoy your job!

I'm not finding another job because of my workmates, I hate my job period. Although yes I do think if you don't like your workmates then you look at other jobs, why stay somewhere if you don't like the environment?

Nothing worse than crappy workmates that we have to do endure 8 hours a day. I am fortunate that I don't have that problem. Good luck in finding work after christmas, as it can be really quiet at that time of year. My contract ends this week and I have already started looking but to no avail.

Given that I actually work with my husband, I suppose that you could say that I like my workmate. It can be a little bit difficult at times to deal with him. If we have a fight at home, it generally carries on to work, and vice versa. Most of the time we get on okay, so it is good.

If I were in your shoes, I'd be looking for a new job after Christmas also. The people I work with now are great. We all pull together to get the work done. I'm the oldest in the office (could be mother to two of the women and almost the boss...LOL), but we are all hard workers and get along very well together. It's a very pleasant working situation. I wish you luck in finding a new (and much better) job.

I have been working for over 30 years now and have learned patience and how to avoid the unpleasant when it comes into the workplace. I get along well with my workmates because they dont put up with the nasty extremes either we have taught each other that the nasty ones dont last and leave with the tide.

I LOVE the people I work with! I work with the most awesome people. We work at KFC, and while you'd think thats not a great job, the people that I work with make it great. I love my job, and have no desire to leave, and I owe it all to the people who I work with. My manager is 30, and we sometimes hang out together outsite of work, we go to casinos together. I'm 23 and the assistant manager. I've worked there for 7.5 years, manager has been there for 10 years, so we know each other really well. Our day time cashier is 44, has worked there for 20 years, and she's just hilarious. We have a bunch of teens that work with us as well, and they're great too. (most of them, a few are kinda weird and don't really fit with us). But for the most part, we all get along great and we work hard to make sure that we create a fun work environment so our employees stay loyal to us.

oh lucky you :) that sounds like my last job, we all used to hang out and stuff, there was usually just one or two who didn't fit in. In fact when I go home for christmas I'm meeting up with everybody from my old work for a few drinks :)

heh heh! this is cute! I work at a very large department store. I don't have problems with my co-workers but I DO have a problem with the customers. Some of them walk by you and you almost have to gag. I almost have it down before they walk by me, I know which ones to hold my breath for! BO to me, smells like old chicken noodle soup. YUCK!
