Hexagons. A bird's bones are hollow but are stronger than someone might think because their bone cells are hexagon-shapped, the strongest natural shape for a cell.

the pentagram, i love that donald duck cartoon that talks about how you can make most all shapes out of it and Pythagoras' theories and studies in geometry.
