I'm no meterologist or anything, and am not trying to pretend to be one...
But isn't this winter a pretty cold one thus far?
I'm down south in Houston where December high's average in the 60's...it was 30 this morning and high today is upper 40's.
It's gonna be like this all week...
Some have predicted snowfall this winter!
Anyway, it's a big difference from last year, eh?
This year all across the U.S. it has been freezing cold recently; we ended up having an almost unrecognizable hurricane season (I think...maybe 1 or 2 here and there...) and therefore gas prices lowered to reasonable levels...
Last year? Katrina, Rita, Florida hurricanes, $3.00 gas, hot winter (for us anyway)...
Huge difference, no?
Anyone able to explain it?
I was just curious.

it just got cold in AZ a week ago but when they talk about global warming they are talking about the icebergs that are melting because it is a few degrees warmer than usual. just a few degrees is making a big difference to the poles and ice and snow. i that stuff starts to melt it could make the oceans go up 5,10,15 feet and that would mean miles up onto the coasts.
