I will post a link to the entire news story at the end, but I couldn't believe this. He was a KID and the police shot him. He was a suspect in a PS3 theft, but as far as I'm concerned that's nothing to kill someone over. Especially during the holiday season, imagine how this kid's parents must feel! I think that the police handled this situation completely wrong! What do you think? http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/16042423/?GT1=8816

Oh my good. Over a play station that he didn't even steal... Thats so awful! Especially at Christmas, How sad for the family and friends of the boy! I can't believe it was over a ps3! They killed someone because of a ps3! Wow how low is the world today? Thats so awful for the families.. Having their son or whatever killed over a games console..

Ya, and the police were the ones who shot him. Having worked for the police department I know that what happened probably breached policy and I hope someone loses their job over this.

That is depressing .. :( I feel bad for his parents, and what happened to innocent until proven guilty. It does sound like excessive force was used according to the article you posted.

I know! It's just so upsetting. There was a quote in the article made by the sherriff that really made me angry. The fact that he was like "Well if he had come to the door then this wouldn't have happened". So is it police policy to shoot everyone that doesn't come to the door when you knock?
