Call center or software

I am working with a call center, but i have done BE in Computer Science. I would like to change my career and grow, am confused.So what do you guys think is the best, is it the call center job or the software job. If you choose one, please let know the reason why?

I would say software... Resaons are
1. I am into software and I simply like the way it is structured...
2. It is day shift... no night shifts unless really required...
3. You dont miss the world outside... You will still be part of it as you dont work in night shifts...
4. Gals will not be feeling insecure as there is no need to travel at odd hours in cabs if you are in software...

if u r not satisfied with ur work,, u should join Software..coz u cant grow unless u r happy with what u r doing
.. to enjoy something u must have interst in it..

Software easily, it will be better pay plus a more likely chance of furturing yourself

If you have qualifications in computer science then you should try for a career in that. Call Centre jobs can be poor quality. Is your call centre for call in India or for other countries?
A lot of people in the U.K. have problems with foreign Call Centres as call centre staff do not have local knowledge which could be required for some queries to call centres, also foreign call centre staff may not understand the English Language to the same degree as local call centre staff do.
I hope that whatever you choose turns out to be the right decision.

Becoming a software engineer is much better than working for a call Centre. Since the required qualification is there, all you need to get into reputed software company (even if the salary is less) to get your hands on the job which is more challenging than the call centre jobs which are monotonous. Also reputation wise, software jobs are better.

offcource go for sofware field i am also a software engineer .just leave call center
job it is very bad job they make you addictive of call center.after that it will be very difficult to leave the job .you have done the be in the computers it is just great. try for the software one.no problem if you star with 3000 per month.but you
can reach to 30000 to next year it totally depends on the yuor capability........

Yes call center is better than software field. I to completed my B-Tech and working as a trainee in a software company. Its difficult to work at this position. It takes of time to get in to the better position. But my friend who is working in a call center was in a better position than me. He says me to change my profession come to his field which would be better than mine. Now I was in a confusion weather to continue with the same profession or to change the track....

hiya..i too work in call center and to be frank call center r booming these days iam sure u must have aware of this right...since u have done B.E u need to go and change ur career ok..coz u cant trust call center..you know why..they close the company are they can shut down the program any point of time..According to my experiences iam im working in Call Center for the last 3 years...

Hi, Go for software job. U can learn many things, U can come up well. In call center the same routine job & only thing is U will get high salary. In software field also U will get good salary & future will also be there.

hey dude u can possibly go for a combination as am doing at present thats if u like sales. see i will explain u am working in a software co. but that is usa based so am in sales team so its call center thing again but am into a software co. u c this is how my feild is different but am doing the same thng that i love to and on top of it earing better
