Do you enjoy your job, and what do you do?

I used to do Medical Coding and Billing and absolutely loved it. I did data entry all day and listened to headphones. No telephones, no mean customers. I loved it! I'm a stay at home mom now! Tell me what you do!

I'm in the same situation beth. I was doing medical coding and billing and started having difficulties with my pregnancy. I was gone so long they laid me off and said to come back after I had the baby. Well, I had my son eight months ago and they still won't have me back. They always find an excuse. I really liked it there, so it is disappointing. But, at the same token, I don't want to leave my son in day care either. So, I'm doing this site in hopes to make some extra cash, and for the discussions as well of course.

I was working at an animal hospital for 14 years and loved it. Unfortunately they laid me off while I was on maternity leave. I was due to come back in Jan but apparently these last couple months I have been out they are doing poorly and can't add to the staff that is already there now. They said its possible they may need me in March part time. My husband thinks I should not go back and get a job closer to home. But its hard when you've been with the same people for so many years and have gained respect of the clients. At the same time I likr being home with my son and don't even know how I would feel working full time and leaving him in daycare.

Did they have you apply for unemployment? Mine did and said to put the reason as lack of work. I just applied for it last week so hopefully I will get some money coming in.

Hey, thanks! I will definately check into that! Sounds really neat. I'm thinking about starting my own website since I am looking for something to do. I would like to start making my own candles, lotions, etc. Any good references you can give me to help me set up a site? Thanks for the response!

I had a friend set mine up, as I am not computer savy. I think Pay Pal has something you can look into. Sounds like nice items you make. What about a home party?

Home party would be a good idea to get things started. Maybe I can give away just small products just to get the word out. I know you have to loose a little money before you start making it. Thanks!

I'm a small biz owner. What's it to you? Why is everyone so nosey on this board? Always asking questions, prying into everyone else's business! They all need to get a life! Stop bothering nice, hard-working people! And I sell home improvements, if you really have to know, nosey! lol I'm basically a high-priced hooker; available for the highest dollar! I put on a dog and pony show for people and get little out of it. If that isn't a bunch of horse-crap, I wouldn't know what is. By the way, why in the %#%^ am I telling you all of this? I thought I told you to be a good little girl and go fix me and chunkers a sandwich! And stop bothering us old folks. Get off this post! What's the matter with you? lol Wow! Sorry about that! I was having a nightmare! I woke up and realized I wasn't a contestent on "Let's Roast Chunkers on MyLot!" Where's my sandwiches? lol Thought I'd drop in and add some color over here! tooda loo :)

I used to work at a travel agency as well and I had a lot of fun with it. Are you booking the travel, or customer service? What do you do? I did data entry to book their travel, and I also did customer service on the slower days. Thanks for the response

hair salon - hair salon and barbar sign. Taking care of everyone's hair.
I'm a hairstylist. I own my own business in my home. I just love what I do. I just wish that there was more money in it. Everything you make goes back into the business to keep it stocked up. I wouldn't change what I do for anyone.
