Assuming that Elizabeth became pregnant right away, and that the pregnancies of both Mary and Elizabeth were normal in terms of length, John the Baptist would have been born in March, nine months after his conception in June. According to this calculation, Jesus might have been born in the month of September.

No, it is almost certain that He was not. We don't actually know what day he was born, but we do know that the shepherds would not have been in the field at that time of the year. The reason we celebrate Christmas when we do is that the church set the date to overshadow the pagan Winter Solstice festival.

Many Christians acknowledge that no one knows the exact day Jesus was born. The precise date of Jesus’ birth is not critical, and speculation and controversy about this topic can cause Christians to lose focus.
It is important that we rejoice and celebrate the central events in the life of Jesus Christ because he is the core and foundation of our faith. When we think about and ponder his birth, there are many issues that are mysterious and profound for us. God came to us, taking human flesh, dwelling with us, so that we might be saved. He never stopped being God, but he also became human. He was born of a virgin, and began his human life as a helpless and dependent baby, just as we all do.

No.
A lot of ancient religions did use the 25th of december as a day of gods birth.
- It was the day of birth of the Sun's god Horus for the Aegyptians.
- It was the day of birth of the indo-persian Sun's god Mitra.
- It was the day of birth of the sun God Helios in Petra.
- It was the day of birth of the sun's god Huitzilopochtli for Aztecs.
- It was the day of the "Invictus Sol Elagabalus" celebration in Emesa.
Zarathustra and Khrisna, Dioniso, Adone, Attis, Freyr are just other divine names which were said they were born in that day.
Christians just have got the day from the others religion...but as they doesn't have a "Sun's God", they put in that date the birthdate of Christ.

Thank you very much^^
I'm interested in the common origins of the various religions, so I like very much to talk about these "coincidences".
In three years I think I'm going to make a thesis on the "Common points and origins of the different religions" to finish the University.

ok i got an answer... Jesus was Born in September.. the proof is in the bible.. it talks about the sheep grazing in the field at the last of the season..in Bethleham it becomes winter after september and the bible states the sheep were out grazing still and were not yet put up for winter...So In Conclusion to Jesus Birth we know that it was the end of season and the sheep were yet out for the last time.. September is the only month this can occur.

No one knows the exact date. All calculation say that it was 25th of December. Date is not important but to know why He was born is important to mankind.

No one knows when Jesus was born. Christmas is just a time of celebrating the birth of the most influential man ever born. Unfortunately, too many people have forgotten the reason for Christmas and want to eliminate Christ from it for everyone. Without celebrating the birth of Christ, we might as well forget the day altogether, for would it really mean then?
