Harry Potter: Love it, or Hate it?

I LOVE the Harry Potter movies, never thought I would but I am hooked!

I happen to love Harry Potter. I've seen the movies and read the first 6 books and am patiently waiting for the conclution. I happen to like the books better than the movies. They leave a lot of details out of the book. Like in book 4 the Goblet of fire (or is it the 5th book)they left out the whole thing on Harmonie and her wanting to help free the house elves. It was great character building in the book but left it out of the movie. Although I understand they cant fit everything into a movie.

Yeah, books always tend to be better. If they put everything in then the movie would be like five hours long and no one wants to sit through a five hour movie! lol Thanks for responding.

Maybe if they had intermissions they would sit through them. And maybe like a free cookie or small pop.

I haven't checked out the video games...I'm not big on any video games, just can't get into them. But I am definately hooked on the books and movies...I finally started reading the books recently.

Yes they are, keeps you on your toes doesn't it? I heard that Dumbledore passes on in the next movie...what the heck?? They just find a way to suck us in huh?

Hi I used to think the same.. but harry potter simply rocks. the books are so addictive it is impossible NOT to get hooked to them. The movies, on the other hand are not too good but i enjoy them too.

See, I haven't read the books yet. Haven't had the extra money to get them. I love the movies though, I watch them all the time and am anxiously awaiting the next one.

yes!! i am a harry potter fan too. It's really great to meet you. You must have read all the 6 books isn't it? now if you really liked them then please try my version for the 7th book of harry potter ... just post ur opinion if it's fine or do i need to make some changes.. your opinion would mean a lot to me.. so waiting for your reply...

Im not a huge fan but my kids love it... each time they watch it I always seem to watch aswell ... so I cant say I hate it ... I think they are fantastic movies for the kids as a child I would have loved it...

Oh you know you like it...get out of the denial stage! hehe It is a wonderful movie for kids though, I agree. It helps them stretch the imagination, teaches them to stand for what they believe in, and gives lessons on a good friendship.

Isn't it crazy how they get you hooked? You think it is just some kid movie and then you watch it and can't get enough. You have to keep watching.

I love the movies, but love the books even more :) My boyfriend never wanted to see them when I made him watch Prisoner of Azkaban, but now he's seen them all and read the books twice :)

That is the same thing my husband did to me! We were going to see a movie and he kept going on about the Harry Potter movie, so I thought I would be a good wife and watch it with him...another boring guy movie..Yeah, I really got into after that! Now I have seen all the movies and am wanting the books.

I also love harry potter movies a lot! I think they are made brilliantly and all the star cast are superb. Specially i like the role of hermaine.

I like all Harry Potter Movies! simply great and fantastic! I even bought all toy sets of Harry Potter one! But im sad now cause the end is near for Harry Potter sequel. The lead actors are getting older and i think they need to introduce another big boom hit to replace Harry Potter.

Yeah, that is sad. I hate it when they replace the actors after they get older. I think that completely ruins a good movie. I couldn't see anything being more popular then Harry Potter...but I have been wrong before.

I love Harry potter too. I have read all the 6 books and have seen the movies upteen times. I know the dialogues by heart! Read the books you too will get hooked to it!

Eversince my sister bought her Harry Potter books, Ive also liked reading it, and even hook up to Harry Potter's movies. Its not for children at all. Especially the movie, it has exciting parts and suspense also. Its a good movie, all of it. Been waiting for the next Harry Potter movie.
