Have you work part-time when you were a student?

In some countries, teenagers have jobs while they are still students. Do you think this is a good idea? I think it is a good idea. I myself worked as a research assistant for my professor back in college. I am able to value hard work and it help me financially. Moreso, I've learned a lot from her, not necessarily about work but also about life.
