I was just wondering that the other day... I have never seen carolers in a nieghborhood... When I was in school we went to a senior center and sang spanish carols. Wow, that was a long time ago.
Felise Navidad! (I don't think I spelled that right...)

Hi! I used to go carolling as a child with various groups, but where I live now, I've never seen anyone do it. It would be nice to visit care facilities and sing for the people. That seems like a nice tradition that has gone by the wayside. :-)

When i was a child i when to the retirement home with brownies. As a teenager i was involved with a church youth group and we would go carolling every christmas eve it was a fun thing to do. There were about 20 to 25 of us we would go house to house on the same street as our church. It got to the point that ppl would look for us and there was always hot chocolate or egg nog and lots of christmas treats..AH GOOD TIMES. Now as an adult we have a night santa claus parade and we give out hot apple cider from our church and we sing christmas carols for the ppl who are gathering for the parade most usually join in.

We used to go carolling with our church group and with our girl scout group. Our hockey team sometimes will decide to go out too and simply carouse the streets and sing at random. Of course, we always come home to hot cocoa and cookies!

I went Christmas Carolling with a choir back in middle school.
I've heard of a few people doing harmonica carolling through nursing homes (rather than singing). I would totally love to do that if there were some more harmonica players near me who'd join in! I think that would brighten up a lot of old people's day.
When I went caroling with a choir, we just did it in one of the kid's neighborhoods. And she happened to be quite wealthy too, so it wasn't like we were doing this as any kind of charity in her neighborhood.
