So I sit here watching CSI on television and wonder why? why are they showing us what they do to catch the criminals. Yes I admit it is a very entertaining show, it always keeps me interested but wouldnt it be easier if we didnt broadcast to the world how they go about catching the criminals. Shouldnt it be more secretive than that? All it would take would some psycho to sit back and watch the show enough and take notes to pull of the perfect crime, so well performed that there would be no solving it. They would know exactly what to do to make sure no clues were found, no ties. I know yea the show is great but is it worth revealing all this for entertainment sake?

If a pyscho is watching and obsessing over CSI and creates the "perfect" crime it really doesn't matter. Why? Because they are a pyscho and they are bound to make mistakes and have done so. Also people were creating "perfect" crimes way before CSI. I highly doubt that CSI would have an effect on pyschos, serial killers, etc. And no, I'm not trying to defend CSI, cause I don't like to watch it much. Like to watch the real crime shows. :) I also read true crime books about serial killers etc.

Ann Rule is pretty much the only author that I will read. I agree with your comment and you make a pretty good point. I actually agree with both because they are both good.

It's nice to know that I'm not the only one that thinks like that. I watch that show on occasion too and I think to myself "well now they know better than to run their left hand through their hair and then turn on the faucet after they do something illegal". (not that, but I couldn't think of anything specific lol)
