Thanks for such a cute response. what is 'maya', actually i've only done the basics...and yes i've not made this.

Maya is a 3d modeling and animation software, created by Alias Wavefront, which later renamed itself to just "Alias." Autodesk (who makes a number of other 3d production software) recently purchased the copyrights to Maya, so now they are the ones publishing it. the latest version is 8.0, which has a lot of new features... good thing right? no... because I have had to learn all the new features each time, since i learned on version 4.5, that's a lot of new stuff!! But yeah, of course it's better to have more creative freedom, so i'm happy for the new versions when they come out because there's more features.
