How to prevent male guys doing chating as female?

Now a days chating is very famous and through this so many people far away are kept in touch and in this field some male guys operating their messages with female names and doing chating as they are females by fooling so many people. Is this necessary and is there any idea to prevent such people doing that thing?

what difference does it make whether you chating with female
or male pretending female as long as you ger the kick of chatting

Thanks for your response. It happend to me personally so many times. I had a bad feeling everytime i get that type of persons.

The only completely surefire method to ensure that the person you are talking to is male or female, is through a webcam. If you can see their smiles, and hear their laughter, chances are it really is them. Then again, some guys try to even look and sound female, and some females try to look and sound male, so in those (very rare) cases, i'm not sure you can tell at all.

There is no way to prevent this. I think they do it because they have nothing better todo. I dunno, I rarely chat with random people anymore. I just dont have the desire to.

Thanks for your response. Through chating also i met some nice persons who became best friends of mine. Is it necessary to stop all this that too taking into consideration of these kind of people.
