What do you have to say when baggage doesnot arrive after 22 hours of journey?

I flew from India to Newark on Sunday via London. The total journey took nearly 22 hours. And after that I had to rush about the baggage section since one of my check in luggages had not arrived. It was so frustrating and annoying.
What do you do in such cases?
