COEP ... Institute making a mark in itself

From COEP to PIET and back to COEP Here is the transition of the great institute from one era to another. Being a student of the same institute I have seen it all. From the very unwary walls of stones to the quite a flashy computer labs. Things have changed and that too very drastically. The Then COEP which just had MIG-21 engines on display can now have a MIG-21 show for its student. Such has been a leap towards betterment. All thanks to our very own staff members as well as our Director who has been the driving force for all this. Though in the period of time we have seen three different directors they all have been unique in their own way. Some of them were oriented towards the cultural and extra-curricular part while others were in academics. The mix of events has been in the right direction and has resulted in great achievements. Though individual achievements are not directly related to the institutes but there certainly is a link between them. Students have been constantly encouraged by the profs to think out of the box. Students have been given facilities that were unavailable till date. The campus placements were almost 100%. The tie-up of institute with other renowned companies like IBM, TCS has been a big gain. These companies provide projects as well as guest lectures at regular interval of time… • Boat club- A Heritage • Boiler • Events like skipping, ferodia etc.
