describe your country, what makes you love to live there?

Tell me more about the country you live in, what makes it special? What sets it apart? What makes you want to live there and what makes you hate it sometimes? I live in the Philippines, a picturesque country composed of more than 7000 islands. It's breath taking beauty makes me feel proud of my roots. I only wish we have compassionate and better politicians to lead us and alleviate our conditions.

Philippine Flag - This is the Philippine flag, the 3 stars represent the 3 main islands that make up the whole country, the color red represents revolution, blue represents peace. In times of war, the red is on top to represent a country that is in an uprising.
hahahaha!you are so right my friend! i just wish we can have better officials who will focus on uplifting our poor countrymen's plight rather than focusing on making their wallets thicker and bank accounts fatter. sad, huh?
