I have read alchemist. and i have enjoyed it. Every time you read it you find whole lot new meaning. It works on several planes. It is alike a mirage you think you have found it only to be fooled. The one line i mosttly like in alchemist is is " if you want anything very badly , the whole world will conspire to give it to you." A wonderful thought.

Thealchemist - Thealchemist
it`s a good book:) The Alchemist (Portuguese: O Alquimista) is a bestseller that was first published in Brazil in 1988 and is the most famous work of author Paulo Coelho. It is a symbolic story that urges its readers to follow their dreams. The plot draws largely from an English legend, "The Pedlar of Swaffham", which has been also used by Leo Perutz in "By Night under the Stone Bridge" and Borges' Tale of Two Dreamers, collected in Universal History of Infamy.

Ya i have read it . One of my favourite books , author Paulo coehlo just insists on how love caqn have an impact on the cosmic energy. I love the book and the message it conveyed that i even store the one line synopsis in my mobile and it is "When a person really desires something the whole universe conspires to help that person and realize his dream"
