WATER CRISIS

Just last week, we experienced water crisis for 3 days. Water wasn’t able to reach the kitchen faucet. Only the faucet near the water meter has water and it takes forever to fill a pail. We were fortunate because our other neighbors totally have no water at all.
Then I read in the news that the Philippine government’s funding infrastructure blue print does not allot funding for water projects. This is alarming, since clearly, we are already having problems with water and the government has little plans for improvement. Drinking water may soon be a problem when we used to be abundant of it.
There really is a need for water conservation. Do you? If so, how?

Its already a problem in the Philippines because of not so good draingae system and the whole water system. I lived there for a long time in Visayas and I had to buy mineral water all the time. Sometimes i need to purchase like a tank of water for bathing. But,despite all those problems, i stll love to be there. Nice tropical island! with nice beaches! sea foods! and all those heavenly fruits! awesome! Tchüss! ciao! :-)

It is sad but true about the need to purchase water. It happens, even in some areas here in the metro.
I'm glad you still like the Philippines.
