Body Donation, organ donation

The body is required for many purposes. Organ donation, for medical students' learning purposes (dissection) etc. Parallelly there are lot of accidental deaths, unclaimed bodies and the like. Is there a real requirement for bodies? If so why it is not discussed in the general public forum?

As far as education purpose is concerned thats ok, but organ donation is not as simple as you think. There are many parameters thats needed to be matched before organ donation is really possible. More over organs have time durations before which they can be used. So overall this may be a heft process with a little success rate
