It is weird how memory works: I remember past things and sometimes I forget recent ones. Usually I forget things, and sometimes I have to think for a while before I remember. so I think my memory is not so good. Maybe I'm just very often absented-mind. What do you think about your memory? Do you know some technic or exercises to improve it?

I would have to say I am very forgetful..lol
I also heard that to stimulate your brain regularly will improve your whole entire brain work.
Like chewing gum or excercise your finger movement etc.and people who uses their fingers lots, such as types lots everyday, play some music instruments have a better brain than people who doesn't really do nothing to stimulate your brain.
I went to music college and I can play the piano well but I haven't been playing that much since I left so I think I should get back to the piano thingy to use more brain than I have been doing..lol
It's also my weak point that I forget person's name easily _

Very Interesting! I didnt know that chewing gum and moving finger stimulate the mind. Anyway I play music instruments almost every day but I think that reading books helps too. I dont do that so much. yea! start again to play piano! it's so good. Yes my mind works the same way.

I think memory is extremely wierd. Some days my short term memory sucks and I can't remember what somebody said a few seconds ago, and other times I can remember a whole bunch of stuff that somebody said, and I can remember it for a long time. I think it has to do with sleep. It doesn't matter how long you sleep, it is about how WELL you sleep. If you sleep for 8 hours without moving, your brain will be very refreshed and you will be able to remember a lot. It is hard to not move in your sleep though, so most of the time the brain doesn't get a quality rest.

The brain is the most complicated thing ever. Nobody knows how it works, and the top scientists are barely able to figure out that the brain has different parts and what they do. Computers are simple compared to brains.

I have always been fortunate enough to have a good memory, but like everyone else there are always going to be occassions when I forget something that should be easy to remember.
A lot of different methods have been devised as memory aids, but they are usually just a way of encoding or relating things and are basically designed to memorise lists. They do not improve the memory itself.
