I need to plan a baby shower. Does anyone have ideas on how to plan one? I have never done this. It is going to be at my house. The mother is due in December. When should I have it? Do you do a dinner or just cake and punch. Are games usually done? I need help!!!!!

Thank you very much! The baby was born on the the 9th of December and she was very healthy. My shower also turned out just fine. I did the best I could do. I had about 20 people show up. I was very happy with the turn out.

You should have it around October or early November because she could be early and miss the baby shower. So maybe around october. Usually pwoplw just have a big table out with lots of diff typed of food on it. Ask your guests the type of food they likes. Chips, hotdos, hamburgers, seafood, chicken, Punch,Soda and etc. It usually last about 3 hours. One hour for eating , one hour for games, one hour for gifts. Some examples of games are: 1) You can give everybody ribbons and they use that to guess the measurements of the belly. Each person wraps their ribbon around the belly and the one closest to the belly measurment wins. 2) you can get a bunch of baby socks . miss them up. they can play match the socks. The one who gets the most matched in a certain amount of time wins.
