I got an e-mail from Swiss Lotto, when I check it out in the web, and one link told me about a past winner. I got this e-mail, and I think it may be a scam, because I have like, two or three e-mails from Africa, claiming they wanted to give me money. I am only, like, in seventh grade,or primary six. I've told my mum about it, but really, is it a scam?
PS: I have some doubts about this, can anyone tell me what is it? (If you have maybe received this kind of e-mails, tell me what you did)

To be sure, check the spelling and grammar. Anyone contacting you with such information will be a business person and should be proficient in your language. If you aren't sure, have someone else look at the correspondence. If it's a scam, it's from a lowlife with a poor or below average education. The spelling and grammar will always give them away.
It is a SCAM don't even open it. Even if you did or didn't report it as spam. DON'T give them ANY information about you or your family.

My boyfriend once get this kind of "news", but per post. He would have participate to a lotery in Spain and, of course, he would have won the jackpot! We checked this on the net, it appeared to be one of the biggest spam society in the world.
So, since then, when I got such great news, I only delete the mail...

It's a scam and how you can tell is when they ask you to send money to cover some cost. But if they are sending you the lotto without you sending them any money go for it. The trick always had been they'll make you send them money and disappear with it. It used to be called the Nigerian email scam and it goes away but it doesn’t die.

I haven't heard about it, but there are so many scams out there; you hardly dare to try a new site because of it :(
Good luck with everything!
