Bla, no I have not. But I was blessed once to help an old man cross a busy road. We all were hurrying for our destination and I almost tripped over this man who was sitting on the pavement - torn, tattered, frail and devastated. I felt so sorry that I asked him what he intended to do and then I helped him with the crossing. trsut me, it was not about helping someone, it was more about helping myself and the whole day I felt great.I was on my toes and did the right thing at the right time.
That was my way of thanking that man.

Good Post!
It has sometimes happend with me that I helped a blind person cross a street and indeed I felt relieved to help a blind person. I thinking helping someone is a good gesture, provided the person seeking help is a genuine person.

My ex mother in law who i still see often is blind due to diabeties. It can be quite interesting helping her around. Like crossing the road, i wonder how many people know that when we press the button and stand waiting for the green man, underneath is something that spins to let a blind person know when it's safe to cross. have a feel next time your out
