The PlayStation Portable (officially abbreviated as PSP) is a handheld game console released and manufactured by Sony Computer Entertainment. Its development was first announced during E³ 2003, and it was officially unveiled on May 11, 2004 at a Sony press conference before E³ 2004. The system was released in Japan on December 12, 2004, the United States and Canada on March 24, 2005 and in Europe and Australia on September 1, 2005. The PlayStation Portable offers the ability to play video games, watch videos, listen to music, view images, as well as Internet browsing functionality.Sony PSP is a great device. If you pick one up, you can’t help but be awed by the way it looks, feels, and responds. You can play games that—if you believe the news releases from Sony—are technically more advanced than the PlayStation 2 game system. Pictures and video can be played on the PSP; you can connect PSP systems together with built-in WiFi connectors. A new playback format, Universal Media Disc (UMD), allows you to watch movies in beautiful wide screen, play games, and do all sorts of other things. It is the best gadget i have ever have and i grade 9/10 for my psp (Its my baby and i love my BABY)

I have a PSP - we got one when they first came out. They are great, but there is just one thing that adgitates me about it - loading time. Which differs with every game, sometimes I feel like I'm spending more of my time waiting for the game to load then I spend playing it. Other then that I love it, the WiFi hookup is great for playing with other people too. I have yet to watch Movies on it yet, I should take it with me while I fly up North tomorrow - might keep me busy for the flight. =)
I give it a 9/10 also
