Our dog (his name is Ike) sleeps with us, he spralls his whole body across the bed making it very uncomfortable for me and my boyfriend. If you want an idea of how spoiled our dog is, well when he takes up a lot of room my boyfriend will often get up and sleep in the other bed instead of kicking him off lol...

I have two cats. One sleeps at my feet, and hogs the bottom of the bed. He is very large. The second sleeps 1 inch from my face, and usually the butt end, hahhaha. I love them both, as they are my furry kids.

Mine sleeps with me. She's a Saint. So she takes up half the bed! Mine also likes to sit in your lap - at 120 lbs! LOL.

I have a German Shepherd and a really old fat cat. The dog likes to sleep on the bed, but only when I'm not in it, lol. As soon as I crawl in, she hops off. When the dog hops off the bed at night, the old cat cries to be picked up and put on the bed. (She's too old to leap up anymore.) The cat sleeps at the foot of the bed at the furthest corner from where I am. I used to have a rule about no dogs on the bed, but when I was still married, my husband was really sick once and he let the dog up there. Doesn't bother me either way anymore. (Although sometimes I wish the dog would sleep on my feet and keep 'em warm at least!)

We have a 75 pound black lab named Bingo. And Yes he does sleep with us lol. My hubby works nights so I don't have to worry about him being a bed hog during the week. But when it comes to the weekend, he has to be inbetween both of us. He usually snuggles to me and ends up stretching and kicking my hubby at night lol. (Guess I have him trained right, to bother daddy not mommy lol)

Only when they are not sleeping with the kids.
I allowed them to sleep with the kids in the beginning because I feel it helps them know they are part of the family. But it also makes it to where they are not roaming the downstairs getting into things when it is time for bed.
They know by they children going to bed...that bed time is bed time and there is no running around after bed time.
But occasionally, they will hear a thunder storm that scares them and come running to my bed like a child. OR the kids will stay up and watch tv with me in my bed and they will fall asleep on my bed. I do not have the heart to bother them. So they stay. :)
My dogs are always in someone's bed though. If not mine, then the kids.

Oh yes, both of my babies run right up to the bedroom when they know momma and daddy are getting in the bed. Normally the kitten ends up in my son's bed by the morning, but my daddy cat is always asleep by my side.
