Hello, as I guess a lot of you guys are not from England, anyways I was just wondering how popular english football is in other countries..sorry I think that in America it is called 'soccer' anyway, I support Arsenal Football Club which is in London, I was wondering if anyone has heard of Arsenal or indeed any other English football teams?? Also what your views on football (or soccer) are if it is not your national sport. Thanks.

EPL is very famous in my country, especially among the men, and alot of betting starts during that time as well. :) Alot of friends get together for a drink over a match to watch together. It's quite common here, but they only show the important matches over the local tv programmes. We have to watch most of EPL match on Cable TV.

Oh right, this is quite fascinating, a lot of people bet money on who will win the EPL over here and who will score first in a match etc...sometimes they bet on silly things though, like whether there will be a pitch invasion by the fans or something. Thanks for your response!
