I think that non-conformism has become a moot point. Even people who claim to be non-comformists are conforming to what they consider to be a 'rebel' lifestyle. Within the last decade, nonconforming has become a trend in and of itself. It's become 'cool' in the eyes of a lot of kids to rebel against trends. But they all do it together in groups and in the exact same way. That kind of defeats the purpose.
If I had to label myself, I'd say noncomformist. I do what I like and get interested in whatever I like and don't pay attention to trends.

I'm a nonconformist, on the verge of being eccentric!

I'd like to say I'm a non-conformist.
I dislike bending to what people think I SHOULD be. I go by what I myself personally believe in..if a few labels happen to fit me, whatever, you know? I don't define myself by them..I'm simply..just me.
