seether vs. nirvana

do you think seether is trying to rip off nirvana's style? a lot of people say so but personally i think seether stands on their own. so what if they're partly influenced by nirvana's music? influences perpetuate the cycle of music making. it does not mean you're ripping off someone's style. what do you think?

I believe the reason some people say Seether is a Nirvana knock off is because they are more of a radio friendly Grunge band(Post Grunge I believe it is called). I have not heard Seether's material to judge them, but if they have a sound that is anything like Nirnava, I see no harm in it.

in no way shape or form are seether ripping off nirvana....seether is about the closest thing you can get to what was the grunge era...there a remarkable band that stands on there own in many ways and i know im gonna catch alot of crap for this but shauns vocals are much better than kurts the best band from the grunge era hands down was alice n chains
