well in india for 100 guest it costs around 40,000 to 50,000 indian rupees .. so calculate how much u need on the basis of hom much ur guests....

$25-30,000. 45 people. We got married in Hawaii which turned out to be much cheaper than doing it at home.

we had about 150 people and spent probley about 6000.00-7000.00 with everything

I had a formal wedding but very inexpensive...everything except the photos ran us $500. We had a total of 42 people. Our reception was in the church hall. We had a buffet at our reception and made all the food ourselves. We also did all our own decorating and planning.

My wedding was 45 years ago and times have changed so much. I think we spent about $1000 for 300 guests, but we didn't have a reception. We had a cake cutting the night of the rehersal which was common back then.

All the cost including 55 guests, the total be around $6,000 (may be a little less if all guests do not show). Within the last 2 weeks one of the newspapers ran an article that said the average wedding costs over $25k. Next year the cost is suppose to run over $30K. I can't imagine wasting money like that.

It always blows my mind how much - especially Americans- spend on their wedding ..25K ?? damn I could make a downpayment for house for that amount of money ... We spent about $4,000.00 which included all the papers required,the priest and justice of peace,the Honeymoon suite, dinner with our two witnesses and the clothes and the rings ..

We had 150 guest and total we spent $3,000. Some of our things where given as gifts. My aunt baked our cake she is a professional baker. My granfather is a printer and he made or wedding invitations. My Friend was a dj at the time so he was our DJ. We also had a cousin do the video and we had multiple family members do the pictures. We where married in my granmothers yard where my parents and all my aunts and uncles where married. Since we spent a lot less then my parents had thought they gave us money for a gift. It was great. I would not have changed a thing.
