Is it just me or have you parents sighed when you child comes home with a math assignment that makes you wish you had been there when the teacher taught it? I wish they would stick to the basic skills and do away with the rest? do you agree or disagree . tell us why....

I hate math, too. I still count on my fingers. And, I don't think most people need algebra or any higher math.

I HATE math. I am finishing up my college courses and just struggled through a geometry course. If it had not been for my fiance I would have failed. I dread the day my son comes home with math work that I cannot explain to him.

I am responding only to tell that i feel the same with you. Ive always been a right-brained fellow. I never liked numbers, but numbers mixed with letters(algebra) are totally crazy! until now, i haven't figured out whether I'm poor in Math because I hate it or I hate it because I'm poor in it! I can only be sure of two things, I'm poor in it AND I hate it!!!
