What is the dumbest thing you ever did?

I live in a complex of townhouses, and one day, I heard a gun shot. So, I went outside, and there was two men arguing. Well, not really thinking about my safety (stupid me!) I yelled at the guy with a gun! I was just worried about him shooting into someones house (namely, my own). And then I stayed outside, holding my phone, threatening to call the police until the guy left. I have heard all sorts of horror stories about stray bullets killing people by accident. About thirty minutes later the police showed up, and they wanted my statement. When I told them what I did, they laughed at me! LOL! It was pretty stupid!
