My son starts going to the Shriners Hospital tomorrow.

I am so worried about what the diagnosis will be and how they will try to correct it. The bones in my 2yr old's legs appears to be curved and he has a foot that turns inward as he walks. He has the appearance of being "clubbed footed". His doctor thinks he may have a bone disease or some sort of bone deformity. They may do surgery. I really hate that he has to go through this especially around Christmas time. They said that it could have been in result from me being on depo when I got pregnant. I just hope it goes ok.

I too am worried about people I love and care about, I just found out my dad has melanoma, they don't know if it spread yet or not, and my son needs surgery on the 29th of december. If you need to talk you can pm me anytime, gotta add each other as a friend first though, this way we can communicate through pm's.
