It is not the education of the subject alone which is important. The degree which you get and the college from which you get, play a role in shaping you. The real education is the one which makes you think for yourself. As of today specialists are required in all the fields. The hike in salaries is only there for skilled labour. The unskilled labour has not seen any major change in their income in the last 30 years. So become a specialist in your field. The PhD's command a respect and different price. If you are not satisfied, contact me, I will give concrete information.

agreed...but my question is diffrnt al2gthr...yes the uni n the degree is imp in ones' life bt its importance survive till the person finally lands in the same field..which is not generally seen these days...they will rather select money over the field of interest or education....

Education is good, but experience is a must. Schools are good, but attitude is final key to success.

I really don't believe so. In the job field today, it is more about experience. A degree might make you look flashy or you might need a degree for the big next promotion, but if you don't have experience, you are not likely to get the job in the first place.
