Why aren't the Mariners doing anything this offseason?

They need desperate pitching help but have done nothing to help it so far. What would you do?

Well I saw that they picked up M. Batista, who I liked when he was pitching in Toronto. They also picked up Guillen, who could pose a threat on offense. I am not so sure about these moves yet, but maybe they will pay off. I certainly don't think that the M's can do any worse than they did last year! (At least I hope not!) GO MARINERS!

Horacio Ramirez and Jose Vidro definitely show some promise offensively and defensively, but they have been riddled with injuries in the past few years. The Mariners could have done a lot better this offseason (like sign someone like Barry Zito), but I think they'll do all right this season.
