software job or hardware job

i have been placed in two companies...one is IBM which is well reputed and which u all know well.the other one is a embedded related firm which is a toshiba group company....i am confused to join which company..pls give your opinions

I would be more drawn to IBM because they have been around for a long time and are fairly stable. However, you need to decide where you want to go with your career. Are you interested in software or hardware? What kind of job do you want to eventually have? Which company suits your needs better and where were you more comfortable when you interviewed?
