what is th need of marking best response?

i want to ask what is the need of marking best response....
did it give the responder better pay

It is hard to say if you are paid any differently or not. Since we are not privileged to know the exact breakdown for the algorithim. It can't hurt to give best responses. I know I like to check to see if any of my respnses are added into my best response screens. It is like a personal benchmark for myself.
