I just had my first article published by Associated Content.
I've written thousands of articles online, but am still stepping around the edges of more traditional ways to publish. AC is exactly traditional, but its closer to traditional than some of my other experiences thus far.
How about you have you ever been Published?

I have been published online and do professional book reviews for a company but I haven't really, truly been published. I'll check out your link too!
Thanks!

That's cool. I love to read and keep a bit of a journal, but never get around to typing up the actual reviews. I think I am going to start recording those for a podcast. I can compose fast when I type, but when I'm talking about a great book, I need to talk. Some mental block I have maybe . . .
Over the last couple days I've compiled and updated some resources that focus on helping people earn a second income from blogging and freelance online writing.
The material is all free (no pay for download of an ebook or anything) :)

Congrats, I just started with them. How are you finding their pay scale? I got $6 for one and $7 for another, but or a few others they only offered $3 each. I've heard on their boards that they've been lowering their payments. It's hard to figure out what topics/keywords are going to get them to offer the most money.

I have submitted 2 articles so far.
Both non-exclusive. I received $5 for the first, which I thought was pretty decent for non-exclusive. I'm still awaiting a review on the 2nd article (just submitted yesterday).
I plan on going through a few of my older articles that have stood the test of time and submitting them for more non-exclusive.
I haven't found the right article to use for an exclusive yet.

I've had photos published.. ( am a photographer, not much of a writer! )
Do they need any visual media?

See my link above for Blog Revenue
I do have a section on there specifically for selling your photos!
There's an agency out of the UK (they operate world wide) they work to remarket Pictures primarily and writing secondarily to news and print publications.
They are looking for stock photos, locational unique photos and anything at all that might be newsworthy.
They work to market your photos and connect buyers to your work, they negotiate the best deal possible and take a commission and then they work to enforce and protect your copyright on the photos after the fact!
