Fc United of Manchester are football club set up by the disenfranchised supporters of Manchester united following the take over by Tampa bay bucks owner malcolm glazer in Feb 2005. They have started playing in Aug 2005 in a division 9 steps down the English footbal ladder. They have an average crowd of approx 3000 in a division where the average attendance is 50!!Were crowned champions in there first season in front of 6500 fans at burys gigg lane stadium. Have brought the game of football back to the working class roots that enabled Manchester United to become the big multi million £ business that it is today we have done once we can do it again and this time its will stay for the good of the community. check them out at www.fcunitedofmanchester.co.uk
