If you had to work in a funeral home what job would you prefer?

I have a hard time comforting people without breaking down myself, so councelling would not be a good job for me. I suppose that I could do the makeup on the deceased? I enjoy doing makeup and have never really liked how fake they often make the deceased look with their makeup..I wonder if I could make it look a little less fake.

Thats really cool. I feel the same way you do about the makeup they do . I dont like how they cover up natural markings that the person had their entire life . It makes it look like theyre wearing a mask.

I would like to be a sort of a comforter to relations,I don't even know if they people for that, I had to spend about a week at a Hospice when a friend of mine was dying and there was a lady there that was there to make you feel a little more comfortable, made us tea, and was there if anyone was on theie own and wanted to ask questions or just there for people.

My mom is a hospic aid. She goes from patient to patient to help with baths and stuff. Everyone I met says she's their angel.

It would have to be working on the body. I'm not good with grief. I actually would love to work in the Morgue. I kinda was aiming for that with my degree, but I ended up on a different route.

I would want to comfort and pray with people. What did you do there?
