Ok, heres is my story. I was trying to stop the toilet bowl from leaking. So I replaced all the parts in the tank yesterday including the screws that secure it to the bowl. It still leak, so I got back to lowes and get a replacement for the pipe that goes from the valve to the tank, and it stopped the leak for a few hours Yeah me Because it was me, I went back and checked it again and it was leaking from one of the screws that secure it to the tank. So I get out my brandy new socket set and tightening the screw down. Experienced do it your selfers know whats coming next I tightened the screws too tight and broke the bowl. Water everyware, 3 year old going "Daddy, what did you do" daddy daddy daddy. Now I am Minus one toilet. If it wasn't the main one in the house. I would turn that bathroom in to storage, because I have 3 other bathrooms. But know I have to go to Lowes and buy a new bowl and tank (My wife is actually ok with this because it was a baby blue tank and she wanted to paint the room any and the blue go with waht she wanted any way) So, does anyone else have another funny home improvement do it your self horror story :)
