Kentucky Fried Chicken all the time. I dislike McDonalds' burger rolls because they are very small, rubbery and sweet. KFC now do a much wider range, and I love it. I could eat it every day if it weren't for getting like a hippo! lol

Nice to know that but i have some news for all KFC and MCDONALDS lover but i dont wanna hurt any one feeling or like ness but i read a news about KFC and MCdonald for then i didnt go to much.. Here is the news tell me if its true or not: Hong Kong: Cancer-Causing Substance Found At McDonald's, KFC. Hong Kong Consumer Council and Center for Food Safety in Hong Kong has issued the result of an inspection on food safety which lists the potato products at McDonald's and KFC in its list of cancer-causing products. After testing 103 kinds of snacks, the inspection shows that the french fries at these fast food chains contain the most acrylamide, which may cause cancer. Representatives from McDonald's and KFC have not made any comment on these issues. The chemical compound acrylamide (acrylic amide) is a white odorless crystalline solid, soluble in water, ethanol, ether and chloroform. Most acrylamide is used to synthesize polyacrylamides which find many uses as water-soluble thickeners. Acrylamide in fried or baked goods is produced by the reaction between asparagine and reducing sugars or reactive carbonyls. In April 2002, Sweden's National Food Administration announced that acrylamide can be found in baked and fried starchy foods, such as potato chips and breads, and concern was raised as it may be a carcinogen. In August 2005, California attorney general Bill Lockyer filed a lawsuit against top makers of french fries and potato chips to warn consumers of the potential risk of consuming acrylamide.

Hmmmmmmm... I'm sorry, I can't really comment as to whether that's true or false... it could be scaremongery but on the other hand, it could be authentic. You never know when you read these reports, but had you thought that it might be a ruse by some other food chain, i.e. Burger King, in order to gain KFC and McDs custom? It would be interesting to find out the truth, but for the meanwhile, KFC has never done me an ounce of harm, so I will carry on buying it. :-)

McDonald's is trying their hands on making fried chicken while KFC is trying to do burgers. The outcome? McDonald's chicken doesn't taste as good as KFC's while KFC's burger doesn't taste fantastic. Now KFC is trying out fish and chips. I tried it today and I must say it tasted more like another crispy chicken parts! The fish meat is so dry. Maybe they should learn from Long John Silver! So the bottomline is - stick to your own trade. McDonald's knows burgers best while KFC is the expert in fried chickens. Like the saying goes "jack of all trades master of none!".

McDonald's and KFC are fattier in the US: We're not stupid. Sometimes we pretend or choose to ignore the fat in foods from McDonald's and KFC, but we know those evil trans fats are in there. However, what you might not have known is that the trans fat content in French fries and fried chicken from McDonald's and KFC is higher in the US than in their counterparts in other countries. Researchers studied the trans fat content of foods at locations around the world and were surpised by how much variation there was for restaurants that are supposed to be standard from location to location. There were even differences among restaurants in the same city. The differences come from the type of frying oil that is being used - partially hydrogenated vegetable oil is high in trans fast (and is also cheaper). At a New York City McDonald's, a large fries-and-chicken-nuggets combo had 10.2 g of trans fat, Spain, Russia and the Czech Republic had a mere 3 g, and Denmark nuggets and fries came in the lowest at 0.33 g of trans fat.

I would have to say...McDonalds because I'm not a big fan of chicken with the bones still in it! I really like the nuggets at McDonalds! I've also been there the most.

I remember eating a Burger at the first time in mcdonald when I was in Denmark and being surprised how good the burgers actually were. They didn't taste like their horrible counterparts in the states. The same was true at KFC in London which served up Jumbo Burger with BBQ chicken and other delicious stuff. I guess we have just become accustomed to the food and they have adjusted their recipes accordingly to the publics' palate.
