You must, it's so great. It's on Fridays out my way. Tony Shlub is the actor.

I'm not sure if I did see that one. I try to see all of them if possible. Have you seen him in drama? He is so talented.

I really like his show. My son's pediatrician refers to him as a "little Monk" because he has a mild case of OCD. He rearranges the waiting room while we are waiting. He makes sure all the books are stacked evenly and that all the chairs are straight or pushed into the tables. Tony Shaloub does a wonderful job protraying someone with this illness.

I like it. It's actually one of my favorite comedy shows and I try to keep up with the new episodes. I think it's one of the best shows to watch when you really want to laugh.

I love Monk! I never watched it until I was on it a couple years ago. I had a small role in the second season. Tony is a great person and was a lot of fun to work with. He is nothing like his character but gets into character (OCD) right before each take. He was picking things off my shirt before one take because I had some fuzz on me and it drove "Adrian Monk" nuts. Very funny guy. Very funny show.

I've tried to watch it a few times and one or two were quite good but overall I don't like the show. I just find it too unrealistic. A major detective with that much OCD and his phobias I can't picture happening. I felt the same way about Columbo and with how idiotic he would act. Just didn't mesh with being a Lieutenant. I know a lot of people love the show Monk but I'm not one of them.

That's fine. You are entitled. I must say that he is quite talented though. I have seen him in dramatic rolls, and he is great. Thanks for the reply.

I think when something isn't the norm, it is better.
So this is improbable... but lots of things that are real are improbable.
And there are a lot of people who are brilliant but other things that keep them from doing the job full-time. That is how they get called into things as EXPERTS!

I love that show. It’s a really good portrayal of someone with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, a psychological disability. Both Natalie and Sharona were good portrayals of personal care assistants or PCA’s people who help disabled people with all sorts of disabilities (physical, sensory, or psychological) do what they need to do in order to survive and manage their lives. As is typical of most people with psychological impairments, Monk assistants are not paid by the state. Unlike mine, I have a physical impairment. I really like the show. I want someone to buy me the DVDs for Christmas so I’ll never be without a Monk fix when I need one. Take a hint mom!

I love Monk! This year's Christmas episode was awesome! I like the way there is comedy but plied with a somberness just below the surface. And this week's black and white TV episode was pretty cool. I can't wait for the new season to start on Jan. 19th!

Unfortunately, we don't have cable, so I get the dvds through interlibrary loan.
