Diet or regular soda? / myLot

I'm actually good each way, as long as caffine is involved. My husband can't stand diet! He insists that there is an aftertaste. Which do you prefer?

I drink Diet soda myself, like your husband my son doesn't care for diet soda. I've been drinking it most of my life because my mother also drinks diet soda.

i prefer regular, though i'm fine with diet. my husband, like yours, won't go for diet too. he said the taste isn't the same :)

Yes, caffine free is good for you...but that would take away the only reason I drink the soda! I need something to keep me awake all day! Thanks for responding.

Regular is my favorite too! Which one do you like the best? I tend to go for Mt. Dew or Pepsi. Thanks for the response!

I prefer regular soda as I don't need to lose weight, I tried diet before and it doesn't taste as good but if someone is on a diet ; this is what it was made for and they should compromise a bit.

Yes, but I noticed when I was dieting that the diet really didn't make much of a difference. Not enough to make it worth it anyways. I just enjoy my pepsi or mountain dew and no one can change that! hehe

I kind of have to agree with your hsand there are some diet sodas do do eave a aftertaste. To me it is the ones with splenda in it that leaves the most after taste.

Alright, did my husband get on here over night and rally everybody up to say there's an aftertaste? He would do something like that just to harass me! We constantly pick on each other like that, isn't love grand? hehe Thanks for the response!

I prefer regular myself, but I'll drink diet if it is there you know? I guess that is still my upbringing in the back of my head. I hear my mom saying to appreciate that you even have it and don't complain. So, I tend to eat or drink whatever. Thanks for the response!
