I'm always sketched out about downloading music since it is techinically illegal. I guess its a game of chance and we all take risks by downloading. I personally use Limewire and haven't used Kazaa in forever.
I don't really download very much music anyways, just occasionally.

I like them because I can get music for free. Artists are greedy. They get so much money from other means...concerts, merchandies, web sites, etc. I'm making enough to pay my bills and they want me to shell out 20 dollars for a dang cd. No thanks, I'll just download the songs that I want. lol.

I don't see how it's stealing if we're allowing to share our own music. I use limewire all the time, and haven't had any problems.

just think about the singer whose songs u are downloading.
imagine yourself to be at their place.
does it not HURT you??
it can never be justified.

I do not feel good about downloading CDS, movies, or anything, but what can you do? Some people just can't afford the price tag.
Some people just decide to be miserish. My friend's dad earns $450,000/year+ and he still pirates music. I mean, come on! If you can buy a $300 ipod, can't you cough up $1 or $2 for a CD?
They should charge surcharges on stuff they know will be used for piracy. Like an extra $20 on the Ipod. Noone feels it when buying something $300-400. Then, you use the money to help out the Music Industry.
