I am not sure, Many use yahoo 360... And like that..
Bravenet now has new blogs, My Space, Friendster, Hi5, Facebox, bolt, all those friends networks have them..... Diaryland.com... Has nice little Internet diaries I like their system for just text they want you to pay for links or html though.. if you want to put that in.....
I never tried these but found them. Maybe members here can tell you how their services are if they are with them.

I am searching as well... Trying to decide, as I would rather post my poetries and stories on a blog instead of on html pages, I am struggling with keeping enough time to do so. But for those who have enough time to do so that is the other option a webhost, and just converting poems into html format and posting them on a site as I did for mine...
Like this..

Not the best of format.. But that is another option for people who do not find blog hosts good enough.
Take care, - DNatureofDTrain

Personally I love wordpress, we use it all the time in work and I would like to switch my blog to it. There are a few problems though:-
- I would lose my pagerank, technorati rank and search engine placement by swapping (because it uses .php as opposed to .html)
- I don't have a free Mysql database (mine are taken up by my forum @ http://www.rhyswynne.co.uk/forum and my toplist @ http://www.rhyswynne.co.uk/toplist )
HOWEVER, if you have hosting, and want an excellent blogging system, I THOUROUGHLY reccommend it.

I have heard that wordpress is really good. I really prefer blogger over it. Well the new beta version of blogger is great. I find it much easier to move and change content then the older version. The only thing a bit more difficult is editing the HTML, but once you learn it is a piece of cake.
