Unfortunate Love

My friend is completely crazy about her colleague. But this guy is clearly the wrong person - although they belong to the same religion, they've been brought up in completely contrasting environments. While she belongs to a pious family, his family never follows any of the religious 'laws'. He smokes and drinks excessively - something against their religion, and something which she despises. I don't know what she sees in him and since she's been confiding in me since day 1, I know that its just a crush - she liked him even before she knew his name. We all (her friends) know that the pair is just NOT made for each other, but she's just getting deeper into it by the day. What do I do to help her?

When to people fall in love, At first they can not see all the wrong reasons, all they can see is the right reasons. Sometimes what people think is a horrible match may seem to be at first and in the end be a wonderful match..... The old Saying Opposites Attract is a very true saying. People can find something wrong with everyone.... And It is good to support her no matter if she chooses to go with him or not..... If they truely are not mad for eachother something will make either her or him mad, and they will part ways. - DNatureofDTrain
