Yes it is. I have several binders full right now. I to add to my collection and perhaps this is the place to do so.

I used to collect the picture post cards in 1970's. I had thousands of them. I do not buy them, instead I used to collect it from people, which were sent to them by their friends and relatives when they were touring the places all over the world. In 1930's and 1940's, people especially US and UK (I donot know about other countries) used to write beautifully, explaining about the places they visit, the climatic condition etc and these cards were posted at Ports where the ships anchored. It had a postal mark of that port with a stamp of that country where the port was located. These post cards usually fetch $5 to $10 and more if they were some dignitaries and luminaries. If you leave your address, I shall post some cards from India which have lovely scenic and historial views.

I also collect ones others give me, I love the older post cards too. I even have a leather post card from the early 1900's as far as I can tell.
