FIRE?

What is the matter of fire? solid,liquid or gas? thanks.

I am pretty sure fire is just the energy realesed by a reaction. In other words, when a log burns, the fire produced is result of the chemical reaction.

u should be knowing that fire can be produced from any of these! for solid, u can take the example of wood. for liquid it's petroleum and for gas it's LPG, oops that could result in explosion!

If i recall in the movie BACKDRAFT they did describe that fire is a gas.

I think that gas,but you must say what kind of fire...Because ,,the fire,,that is in a lover heart is from feelings,and in this case I really don't know what answer coul I give to you. Have a nice day!

this is a tricky question. what i think is that only a substance can be classified under the categories that you have mentioned. Fire on the other hand is not 'matter' and thus cannot be put under any of thes categories. however this is just my opinion and not an answer.

I think it is a reaction from a solid matter that produces fire which is a gas!!! maybe!!!(LOL)

The plasma is one of four states of matter(solid,liquid,plasme and gas). The plasma state is a gas that is heated to the point where it begins to release electrons.Although plasma occurs naturally on the sun and other electrically charging a gas in order to release ultraviolet light.
