Is adoption the right thing?

My husband's cousin has a two year old daughter and she is now planning to adopt a child. Her husband would rather have another child, but is willing to adopt for her sake.
Is it the right thing to do? Won't the adopted child feel out of place, esp having a sibling who is the 'real' child of the parents?

I think that adoption is a wonderful way for your cousin to add to her family. There are probably reasons for your cousin wanting to adopt as opposed to having a second biological child.
I think that if both she and her husband are in agreement, then it is up to them.
YOu have stated "won't the adopted child feel out of place..." Why do you think this? In my opinion, a child is a child...whether a biological child or an adopted child and should be treated with love.
